Interface:

Wings formations are now available. Players can now gather in groups of 4 to join all random battles together. 4-members wings are temporarily available for non-premium players.

General sound volume is now adjustable
In Sandbox it’s now possible to tune markers’ visibility both on map and on levels

Aircraft:

He.112 branch added. The main Bf.109’s competitor enters the arena in War Thunder.
Hawker Fury/Nimrod branch added. These planes are now Britain’s reserve 0 ranks planes, so Gladiator is promoted to rank 1.


Added modifications:

bomb racks for the following aircraft: B-17, B-24D, Yak-7B, Yak-1B, LaGG-3 35 series, SB-2 (all models), Ar-2, Er-2 (all models), Tu-2S, Pe-2(all models), Wellington (all models), Lancaster;

Improved simulation for gunners on bombers

FM and DM:

Added detailed DM for fuel tanks. When a tanks is hit the fuel start leaking from this particular tank only. Groups of tanks in the fuel system will be implemented later.
Improved overheat indication. Now when the engine suffers from overheat the warning message speaks about that but now about cooling system overheat as it used to be.
Added visualization for slats. Individual aerodynamic functions of them will be added later.
Fixed damage indication for planes with 3 engines.
Engines won’t start automatically after a stall anymore when playing on Realistic preset and other detailed control settings.
Improved floating engines simulation: floating chamber model is now more realistic
Overheat was changed: now it can occur before take-off, in the air on low speed and in WEP mode as well. Overheating for every specific plane will be tuned with up-coming updates.
Virtual Instructor was improved: swinging of the crosshair decreased at critical angles of attack.
Fixed the issue that may have caused bombs dealing no damage.
Severely damaged ailerons, flaps and rudders can now detach from the fuselage.
Fuel leak indicator disappears when the leak stops.
Fixed the issue that caused self-sealing fuel tanks not to get repaired properly.


Game modes:

In sandbox it’s now possible to turn respawn on/off.
Economics:
Regular planes can be equipped with modifications that give experience bonus.
Premium planes now have +50% bonus to all awards.
Maintenance and other service interruptions will be taken into account in calculations of premium subscription duration.
Replays:
Added indication of game version and replay version compatibility.
Renaming of replay files added.
Autosaving option for replays added, can be found in Menu -> Parameters.
Arcade and third-person view crosshairs turned off in replays.
Fixed the issue that caused a wrong plane to be shown in replays instead of player’s plane


Network:

Maximum peak load on player’s network optimized (decreased).
Improved online synchronization of planes’ positioning, resolved twitches that could be seen during slow rolls.
Fixed the issue that caused planes to fall off of carriers.
Fixed the issue that caused planes to nose over right after their spawning on the field.
Sound:
Added sound of gunfire of turrets on other player’s planes.
Improved gunfire sounds – added more individual sounds of all available machineguns and cannons.
Various improvements in radio voices.
Other:
GameTrix Jet gaming cushion compatibility added.
Fixed the bombs appearing before the reloading is complete.
The model of a plane that was taken down is now shown correctly on the screen message (even if they’ve already switched to another plane).
Added properly translated critical error messages.
Added «Bomber Rescuer» and «Ground Force Rescuer» streaks.
Fixed the «No engine required» streak – if a player stops the engine manually it won’t count.
Axis fine tuning: relative control with predefined step is now available.
Added more convenient afterburner controls when it’s bound to mouse and when «Hold for afterburner» option is on.

Control over damaged aircraft – it's a possibility to control an aircraft after receiving critical damage, such as wing or tail parts loss, engine ignition, etc.

When an aircraft is damaged, you receive a quick tip how to eject from an aircraft. Catpult ejection button is “J” in default keyboard setting. Button may be set or changed in Controls menu.

Damaged aircraft may land on the airfield, where it will be repaired. It also may be landed right on a batllefield or fight till the end.

In arcade mode and modes with resurrections catapult ejection is forced after 30 sec. flight after the critical damage recieved.

Sensitivity settings for turret gunners control;
Automatic leaving of an aircraft, if player is not active after spawn on airfield for a long time;
Smoke effects on cut parts;
You may see your squad mates' country and aircrafts (as tool-tip);

New windows login / hall / boot

Bevor hier noch erste Alarm-Threads hochgehen: ja, momentan ist der Server unten (scheint jedenfalls so, bin ja am updaten). Grund: Patch 1.29 ist rausgekommen. Gibt offensichtlich nur noch keine Ankündigung im Forum dazu. Im Launcher steht es (im großen Bildfenster), ist aber leicht zu überlesen, da in der Neuigkeiten-Leiste links als aktuellstes immer noch der 1.29 Trailer beworben wird.

Schadensmodell

Das War Thunder Schadensmodell (SM) wurde deutlich in Update 1,29 verbessert. Wir haben circa 10 neue Teile hinzugefügt und spezifiziert und alle vorhandenen Teile für alle Ebenen abgestimmt. Zusammen mit der Einführung der richtigen Munitionstypen für alle Arten von Waffen, diese Änderungen macht den Luft Kampf härter und viel interessanter. Und natürlich passt er sich besser dem historischen Vorbild an


Schäden durch Bomben, Raketen und Torpedos wurde zusätzlich auf Basis ihrer realen Gegenstücke abgestimmt.

MunitionsGurt Optionen

Mit Update 1.29 führen wir verbesserte Munitonsgurte ein. Separat für Kanonen und Maschinengewehre könnt Ihr jetzt aus verschiedenen Arten von Munition wählen: Universal, für Luftziele, für Bodenziele und für Stealth-Attacken (ohne Leuchtspur).

Neue Flugzeuge

Vier Nationen erhalten neue Bomber in ihre Tech Tree´s :


Japan bekommt 2 neue Top-Tier-Bomber - Nakajima G5N und Nakajima G8N. Die erste ist das größte Flugzeug in Warthunder, und kann bis zu 4 Bomben von jeweils 1 Tonne tragen. Ihre ältere Schwester, die G8N, trägt nur 3 Tonnen Bombenlast, hat aber drei Kanonen an Bord um sich perfekt selbst zu schützen.

USA erhält mehrere Modifikationen des legendären B-25 Bombers. Dieses berühmte Bomber fügt sich in den US Techtree direkt zwischen A-20 und B-17ein, mit 6 Maschinengewehren und bis zu 1,5 Tonnen Bombenlast.

Deutschland bekommt die legendäre Do.217 in mehreren Modifikationen zugeteilt, von der Do.217E-2 mit bis zu 2 Tonnen Bombenlast bis zum Nachtjäger Do.217N-1 mit vier MG 151 Kanonen sollten vile Wünsche erfüllt werden.

Der Sowjetischen Tech Tree mit der Tupolev Tu-2-Bomber erhält nun auch mehrere späte Änderungen (bezogen auf die Baujahre) der Tu-2 mit schwerer Panzerung.

Großbritannien erhält den Top-Tier-Meteor Mk8 Düsenjäger, welcher Bomben und Raketen tragen kann.
